The story

“Friendly gravity.”

That is how Cadw says the character of Guy Dawber's Cotswold manner has been described, and you can see it from the road: the deep stone roof, the chimney like a tower, the long white windows. There is a mystery in its dates too.

Ways to help the hall

100 Club

Two pounds a month, four draws a year.

Half of every quarter's subscriptions goes back out in prizes, up to £300, and the rest looks after the hall. The draws are in March, June, September and December.

How it works

Lend a hand

Tasks large and small, always.

The hall is run by a small team of trustees and volunteers. A bar to run, a quiz to set, a gutter to look at: if you have an hour, they would be glad to hear from you.
